Did You Know You Could Rent TFS? Team Foundation Server Can be Rented too! We offered hosted TFS and allowed companies to use the software while saving up on time and money.
Being a UX designer and part of a great startup team, I was involved in building the web application from absolute scratch to a complete product. I also created advertising materials and helped to promote the TFS4YOU service. It was really interesting to design a startup product, create an own brand and give an easy way to use TFS for end developers/designers.
Skinning is a common Microsoft Expression Blend task that enables designers to completely change the look and feel of default Microsoft Silverlight or WPF controls. The tasks of skinning range from simple styling to creating and designing new control templates, which control the visual representation of elements in a unified way. With skinning, you can make controls of the same target type look and behave similarly throughout your application.
Created the second and free version of "Caramel" sweet theme for default Silverlight controls. Totally redesigned styles and control templates. Separated XAML Resources, elegant styles, compact scrollbars, DatePicker, TabControl, New States were added to the second package. Published at the Expression Gallery. In general, I achieved a Gold Gallery Contributor status and demonstrated an on-going commitment to share quality contributions to the galleries.
You know, it's very important to create right icons for your application and keep them as simple and clear as possible. Sometimes you should go with abstract and universal concepts so people from anywhere around the world can quickly understand them.
I created a simple set of MINI icons for Silverlight Navigation Application and Silverlight Business Application. I also converted them for WP7 usage. Many of these icons would work great as Metro icons for Windows 8 applications.
I started my career in the web design industry over 10 years ago. Having the Computer Sciences background and a passion for design, I worked as the web designer and front-end developer at the same time.
Starting from scretch, I designed user experiences and user interfaces for a number of small and large web projects. By using HTML/CSS/JavaScript I created and maintained web site templates for solutions implemented with different server-side technologies like PHP, ASP.NET, etc.
Also I produced a wide variety of print and electronic materials including posters, banners, corporate identity, CD packages, interactive demos and other promotional materials.
